Set in a nightclub in 1930s Berlin just as the Nazi party begin to rise to power, CABARET juxtaposes the decadent cabaret life of the time with the chilling changes in society.
"It's a musical that manages to be both a decadent dazzler and a sober exploration of how hatred and bigotry can lead a society, almost unthinkingly, toward disaster."
"CABARET offers one of the most chilling lines you'll ever hear in an American musical: 'That's just politics...what does that have to do with us?'"
Rated R for adult material and suggestive situations.
