Finally, Shakespeare's women get the opportunity to take center stage! These fascinating women — from Kate to Hecuba, from Lady Capulet to the Leer sisters and more! — come to life in unexpected ways. Suddenly we have a glimpse inside their minds and a sense of what it was like in their male dominated world... (We might even find some parallels to our own).
Humor, wisdom and fury abound in these powerful voices, so often muted in Shakespeare's plays. What might Ophelia and Gertrude discuss in the afterlife? What would Juliet's Nurse say if she could actually speak her mind? Just stream this innovative show from the comfort of your living room and you'll soon find out.
It's a rare opportunity to meet these incredible women... and perhaps even the Bard himself!
